Hi, and welcome to Bitbytelab, my blog about robotics and signal processing.

I am Usama Saqib. I received my Ph.D. in signal processing from Aalborg University, Denmark, in 2021, after an M.Sc. in Embedded Systems Engineering (2015) and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (2011).

During my Ph.D. I authored several research papers and presented my findings at international conferences. My thesis, [*Acoustic Echo Estimation using the model-based approach with Application to Spatial Map Construction in Robotics*](https://vbn.aau.dk/ws/files/528831183/PHD_US.pdf), studies how a robot can estimate acoustic echoes and use them to map the space around it.

I have a passion for cutting-edge technology, especially robotics and signal processing. This is where I share projects, code and notes from that work.
